Over the last few years I have found the cost of competing has escalated, to an almost prohibitive level, so I'm trying to do something about it by securing myself sponsorship.

I'm looking for sponsors to donate whatever they can afford, from £5 to a pair of gloves, every effort is appreciated in this current financial climate. At 25 I already have over 8 years experience in advertising and marketing some of which was gained within the equestrian sector, so I believe your investment in me will be a beneficial one. Your sponsorship will guarantee my active promotion of your business through a variety of online channels, and off line at all equestrian events, and venues I attend, either as a spectator or competitor during your sponsorship period. The GHE blog will showcase to my sponsors their sponsorship in action, and the huge difference it makes to a grass roots rider.

My sponsors will be credited and thanked where possible in event tannoy commentary, and in any local/national press coverage I manage to achieve. I am also happy to act in a field rep capacity by distributing sponsor's promotional material at events. In addition to this I will actively promote my sponsors online on GHE, with blog posts, links, inclusion on the 'Sponsors 2009' and 'Home & Blog' page as well as mentioning them where appropriate on equestrian sites, forums, and blogs. So why sponsor GHE and not a 'big name rider'?...

Big name riders may offer you a higher public profile, but as a grass roots eventer I represent your sales demographic. The majority of British Eventing members compete at BE90, BE100, and Novice level so effectively by sponsoring me you are directly promoting your brand, and its products to the people who buy them. I am tech savvy and have considerable online and offline marketing experience to draw on, and am keen to only embark on sponsorship opportunities that can work in a mutually beneficial capacity.
